I heard this on the radio and was shocked...

With O'Brien now out in Boston, Terry Stotts, yes, Terry Stotts, is the longest tenured coach in the East. He's been the Hawks coach since December 26, 2002. That's right, he's been the Hawks coach for 13 months and 1 day, and has been around longer than any coach in the East.

Think about that for a minute. Shocking...

As of right now, 14 of the 15 coaches in the East are new from last season. That makes me sick, and is also a reason the East is so far behind the West.

Madness. Just total madness. And the thing is, Stotts probably won't last the season the way the Hawks keep playing.

I hope not. I actually think Stotts is a pretty good coach.

the hawks have been awful with the amount of talent on that team IMO, shareef, terry, theres something wrong with Atlanta, no way they should be that bad in the east. I'm not sure if thats Scotts fault, but something is wrong.

Yea, the Hawks should definitely be better than they are. Some of that has to fall on Stotts. But the Hawks also need a bench. Great starters, but worst bench in NBA.

There are a lot of teams that should be better than they are.

They dont have a bench, to be successful in the NBA you have to have a good bench unless you have a lot of star players like the Lakers do.

We stink because our players don't mesh. I don't blame it on Stotts.

:stupid: There's talent in the starting 5, they just can't seem to play together.

Agreed. The Hawks just brazenly signed whoever they wanted, but didn't think about how they'd play together.
