If either one of my sons is gay (9 and 12) I will still love them. I will accept their decisions. I have no problem with that. It is all about all these self professed Christians who use their religion when it suits them. Tis all or nothing if you ask me.
Once again, how do this clown's views differ from someone who feels that blacks, or women, for example, don't deserve the same rights as anyone else? My God, this is one of the most obtuse, idiotic arguments I have yet to see. How anyone can question whether he's bigoted is mind boggling.

I never said the man was not a bigot. In the purest sense he is. My point is you are just as much of one because you feel your view is the only correct one. As I have said before in this thread, I may not agree with his views, but I respect his right to voice them and fight for what is right for his kids, as he sees it. IMHO it is the most important duty a parent has.
BTW ODD, how many kids and how old?

Amazing-two boys 9 and 12. 11/10/91 and 7/19/94. The oldest is quite the first child. Over achiever-Gifted program school, travel soccer, talented piano player, etc. The second is a swimmer and the quintessential second child. I have always said he will end up playing piano in a rock and roll band and get more by mistake than I do on purpose. They keep me and my wife going all the time.
