Like I said, it's acceptable policy in times of economic recession. We are coming out of the recession, and thus the spending won't be necessary soon.

Greenspan beleives we are in a recovery, he also beleives that we are spending like there is no tomorrow and you have to be blind not to see that.

He believes that the deficit is a looming crisis that is likely to haunt this country for many years to come. I'll be curious to see what he has to see after he's been reappointed, btw. Speaking of which, why hasn't that been done by this administration? Hmmm?

Is it time yet? I, personally, think that he lowered the interest rates too many times. If you know anything about real estate, usually, if int. rates are low, it costs more to build, and vice-versa. Of course, that is only applicable to real estate. Face it Odd, our economy is doing well and you can, at your leisure, stop telling everyone that the sky is falling. Our economy is cyclical and to credit/blame a sitting president is, well, a bit elementary.

Why is it that every single time this administration has announced how great things are, they've had to reevaluate the numbers to reflect reality 30, 60, and 90 days down the road?

I don't need the "administration" to tell me when things are going well. I am not a MEMBER of one of the "big" parties, as you are. My opinion comes from the way I see things. .......and I was unemployed for 5 months.

Yeah Kev, anecdotal evidence is always superior to statistics.

Seriously, glad to hear you're back to work. That's rough.

So you're into statistics? Good. Statistics say the country is doing great. Unemployment is down, production is up, the sky is not falling, etc.
