Two of John Kerry's three Purple Heart decorations resulted from self-inflicted wounds, not suffered under enemy fire.
All three of Kerry's Purple Hearts were for minor injuries, not requiring a single hour of hospitalization.
A "fanny wound" was the highlight of Kerry's much touted "no man left behind" Bronze Star.
Kerry turned the tragic death of a father and small child in a Vietnamese fishing boat into an act of "heroism" by filing a false report on the incident.
Kerry entered an abandoned Vietnamese village and slaughtered the domestic animals owned by the civilians and burned down their homes with his Zippo lighter.
Kerry's reckless behavior convinced his colleagues that he had to go -- becoming the only Swift Boat veteran to serve only four months.

And yet we are still the strongest, most well equipped military force in the world..........
So what's the point?

Hell, that isn't even the half of it. In conventional terms, we are arguably further ahead of the rest of the world than any nation has been at any point in human history.

Is that why we are having to send so many reserves and National Guard to Iraq? The goal was always to be able to wage war in two separate theatres at the same time yet we would have a hard time coming up with enough sealift assets to wage one.

This is what your next president said.......
"We will add 40,000 active duty troops - not in Iraq, but to strengthen American forces that are now overstretched, overextended, and under pressure. We will double our special forces to conduct anti-terrorist operations. We will provide our troops with the newest weapons and technology to save their lives - and win the battle. And we will end the backdoor draft of National Guard and reservists."

First off, let me start by saying that Clinton's insane defense cuts during his 2 terms have crippled our military so badly that we are still recovering today. If you don't believe me, I invite you to visit CGI.com and research yourself.
Secondly, it is not the sheer man power of our army that makes it the the most dominant. It's because we have the most advance weapons systems, vehicles, armor, and overall technology in the world. That is vital. (Cough Cough, weapons systems, Mr. Kerry. )
Finally, it is very clear that with today's military, we are capable of running the most precise, effective campaigns that our nation has ever seen. In Vietnam, the final death toll was around 40,000, simply because we weren't running effective campaigns and didn't have the technology to support it.
It is vital that we continue to devlop our defense programs, which in turn takes alot of the burden off the soldier alone and puts him at an advantage on the battlefield that is undeniable.

How????? Most of Kerry's supporters are people that want to pander to terrorists, France, Germany, and any other Socialist country and think everything wrong in the world is the United States' fault. Many also LOATHE the military. So I ask you, other than a draft, how will Kerry get 40K+ citizens into the US Armed Forces? You have to make it more attactive to young adults, Ie. benefits, pay, and since Kerry has pretty much been detrimental to MANY bills that fund the military and research and development......how is he going to do this?
I get it, I'll file this with, "I will create 10 million new jobs". Meritless bantor.
