The Bush campaign has been using fear of terrorism, which is pretty low. I think Bush can handle criticism of his "no child left behind" policy since, after all, there is alot about it to criticize.
So I'm assuming you're against Kerry, Dean, Edwards, et al going to colleges and accusing Bush of having a "secret plan" to reinstate the draft in a blatant attempt to get college kids to vote against Bush? Just for the record, both Bush and Rumsfeld have flatly stated that they would NOT support a draft.

Even more amusing to me is that Kerry and his minions continue to say they were "misled" into Iraq, but now are somehow privvy to a "secret" pentagon plan. Can't have it both ways, folks - either you have access at the highest levels of government or you don't.

You could also recognize that the number of affluent people who got to East is a lot higher than most high school around the country. It just so happens that in Chapel Hill, the parents care more about education than at these redneck and black schools. Look at hillside. it's about a 25 minute drive from East, yet the school is terrible. It's filled with blacks and even has it's own nursery (for the students' children).
Not to mention that the ranking system used was percentage, out of total number of kids, who took AP tests. Our school forces all kids in AP courses to take the AP exam, and they don't even have to pass it to add points to our score.

And swoosh, don't forget Southern's wonderful sub-900 SAT average.
