 I am sick and damned tired of these islamo-fascist terrorist pieces of dog ^%$# beheading people. We need to set an example.

A) Surround the city where intel has Zarqawi, Ie. where the last effin beheaded individual was found. Surround it with Abrams tanks, Bradley's, Stryker's, Rangers, Force Recon, and infantry, hovering Cobras and Apaches, and overflights by Predators.

B) Give EVERYONE 12 hours to get the hell out of the city through one of many checkpoints on the perimeter so everyone can be ID'd and it can be determined that they are not affiliated with terrorists. ...if they are, one round to the head should be sufficient .

C) Drop a freaking neutron bomb on the city, killing anyone who is left as I don't think Zarqawi is going to take a chance at being identified.

D) Send in SAS, US Army Rangers, Delta operators, Navy SEALS, USMC Force Recon, regular infantry, and Special Forces to sweep the city with disregard to normal ROE.

Liberal, politically-correct thinking be damned. It's time to set an example.

Amen!!! I think as the Insurgents are caught they are executed immediately along with a pig and buried with it. We aren’t dealing with a government here, just a bunch of wacko nutjobs so no treaties apply. Iraqi’s need to understand the sooner the country is stable the sooner we leave. Insurgents only prolong our stay.

How about we have all Americans leave Iraq and they can kill each other... If they want democracy let them decide, if they want Anarchy that's ok with me... *next time make your point without the racist remark* I say we drill for oil here in America and let the Middle East rot. I would not trade one American soldier for 10,000 Iraq's lives! It's time to leave that hell hole!

That's a STUPID idea. We'd be back in there in 5 years once it turns into a pre-war Afghanistan.

Here's my idea. First we carpet bomb all of Iraq. Then while we are still there, we let it be known that we will be leaving a stock pile of US issue Nukes and that the first country that can find them (in the dead center of the country) can have them, and they can be the nuclear power/watchdog of the middle east. Then, by Satelite, we watch as all the neighboring thugs and countries come flocking into the country to find this wonderful bounty that they can use against the US for $$$ and attacks. As all of the bands of Islamist terrorists converge on the generous (very generous) supply of nukes and other nasties, we push the button and 04-nuke ! All go BYE BYE! Middle East Problem solved.

Then in (however many years it takes for the radiation to diminish) we go in and tap that oil!

We didn't WANT t go into Afghanistan. We didn't WANT to go into Iraq. However, there was this little thing called 9/11 that changed all dynamics of modern-day warfare.

I am no expert on Islam by any stretch, but it appears to me that the radical element that we are dealing with over there represent a small minority of all the followers of Islam world wide. An it could also be argued that said element does not practice the basic ideas of Islam, instead its been reported that they have often violated the teachings of Islam.

What do you hope to gain by offending nearly 1 billion people worldwide? Those types of actions would just solidify their belief that the United States has no respect for Islam.

we didn't want to go to Afghanistan, true. Iraq, does anyone really know?? Repub shows one thing, demos show another and the merry go round goes around and around and around. Heck, my brother is over there now on his second tour and he doesn't even know!! I just pray that in 10 year when we look back (since hindsight will always be 20/20), we were right!

Now I just need a candidate that has a rebublican view on the economy and defense, and a democratic view on social issues and I'll vote for that guy!! I know, never will happen in my lifetime.

Here's my problem TJ, why aren't Muslims protesting and speaking out in droves against these people if the radicals are the "minority"? I know damn well I would if it were Christians. Their silence speaks volumes.

On another note, C.A.I.R. is planning a protest for that moron Cat Stevens, or Yusef Islam whatever, because he was denied entry into the states. Well, I guess they had to get pissed about something, killing hundreds of children in Russia and numerous beheadings don't seem to phase them. "F" them.

Then you are like me, a Libertarian. However, I disagree with their stance on the war on terror. I don't even think they wanted us in Afghanistan. They're isolationists....a policy that has failed over and over.

You have a point Kev, I am quite disturbed by the fact that very few ever speak out against the terror that these radicals have carried out in the name of Islam.

It's kind of like Germany after WW2. Once we got in there, none of them were Nazis. Of course, they didn't stand up against the "FatherLand" either.

just a tad different on that one. Many German-Americans didn't speak out because they thought they might wind up in the relocation camps like Japaneese-Americans did.

Quote:We oppose any abridgment of the freedom of speech through government censorship, regulation or control of communications media, including, but not limited to, laws concerning obscenity, including "pornography", as we hold this to be an abridgment of liberty of expression despite claims that it instigates rape or assault, or demeans and slanders women.

Quote: The Libertarian Party also opposes restrictions on the development and use of cryptography.

Quote:It's time to re-legalize drugs and let people take responsibility for themselves. Drug abuse is a tragedy and a sickness. Criminal laws only drive the problem underground and put money in the pockets of the criminal class. With drugs legal, compassionate people could do more to educate and rehabilitate drug users who seek help. Drugs should be legal. Individuals have the right to decide for themselves what to put in their bodies, so long as they take responsibility for their actions.
