Rebuttel/Counterpoints to Footballholics 21 points: I couldn't get the quote to work so perhaps you can open up another window and view the two.

1.All terrorism is linked in its goal and idealology. They all murder innocent people and strike anyone who is opposed to them or their extremist muslim views. The are also all anti US and anti Israel. The wish to force an extemists way of life on the entire world, particularly in the middle east and they wish to divide and conquer the rest of the world as well. Iraq was clearly anti US and was a threat to global stability. And if you think its not a global war, ask Spain or Russia or perhaps the Phillipines.

2.So what if he was given info that it was 'bad' to attack Iraq, thats a matter of view and opinion, their is progress being made in Iraq and only time will tell if that was a good decision or not.

3.The Islamic World is 'mostly' against the US as it has been for decades, Iraq is not a 'safe haven' for terrorists, many terrorists die there every day, much of the rest of the Middle East is a 'safe haven' for terrorists who are hiding, regrouping and supplying themselves.Perhaps they are doing so to prepare for entry into Iraq to be killed by coalition forces. If Iraq wasn't the center for the war on terror perhaps these same terrorists hiding in their 'safe havens' would be planning an attack elsewhere, perhaps US soil.

4.Iraq is in the process of total political and social reform, they are slightly better off than they were under Sadaam, but now they have hope and potential to prosper which will be ultimately up to the Iraqis themselves, under Sadaam they had no hope.

5.A non issue

6.Bin Laden may or may not be on the loose, he may have been killed in a mtn in Afghanastan, if he is living he's not exactly 'on the loose' he has been virtually neutralized tactically and is most likely hiding in a cave , shitting in a jar.

7. Another non issue, no President ever really goes on vacation, there all working vacations, cmon you can do better than that.

8. The 200 billion is making us safer, 120 billion is for Iraq, 80 billion for Afghanastan.

9. Im not rich my taxes went down, although I'll agree with you that the 'wealthy' should get no tax cut.

10. Another non issue, being a veteran of foreign war neither qualifies one to be pres nor is it a requirement, its also not a neccesity in upper level decision making related to military ops, there is plenty of experience in Bush's cabinet.

11.Virtual non issues, let the people vote and we will end the debate on gay marriage. Abortion has already been protected by the Supreme Court. Perhaps though, the partial birth abortion ban should be restructured as to allow in event of health risks.

12. Bush didn't stoop nearly as low as the Dems have in this election.

13. Another non issue

14. I do trust Bush

15. Perhaps you should redistribute

16. I thought the war on Iraq was for oil, once Sadaam was toppled we would control the oil, that would surely lead to low gas prices, oops wrong again the war wasn't for oil.

17 Bi Partisan politics in action

18 Health insurance has been out of control ever since I can remember I agree Bush hasn't helped here, nobody ever has to date so I don't have confidence in Kerry here either the HMO systems are messed up.

19. Many Doctors over prescribe and yes the cost of drugs are 'out of control' this too has been a problem for a long long time, the drug companies will not yeild to pressure of govt control.

20. Local Govts mismanage funds and many costs go to prisons, yet most libs and dems are anti death penalty do you have any idea how much is spent per prisoner anually in our prison systems its far more than per pupil spending.

21. I like Bush's swagger, we are the USA and the greatest nation on earth, you may dislike Barry Bonds home run strut as well, does that make him a poor baseball player.

Why shouldn't the rich get a tax cut? Because they're rich? I like to think I am in the land of the free. Where I can be what I want to be. Where I am not punished for working my *** off and making something of myself.

This guy will also not tell you, of course he probably doesn't even know, that Kerry's ONLY taxes come from his capital gains and Senate salary. Wealth is not taxed, Ie. his wife's billion dollars aren't taxed.

Grape or Cherry?

Jobs are lost due to high taxes placed on businesses. That's your party's fault.

Check the dates of the fraud in those cases. Almost all (and it may be all) occurred during the Clinton adminstration and were then rooted out under the Bush administration. Keep drinking the kool-aid.

If Kerry would bother to tell us HOW I might think about it. Until then, I will take my chances with Dub. Wonder why it took Dub coming into office for all that to surface???

Nice try. actually the R' Congress overrode a Clinton veto in '95 to loosen up SEC powers and other oversite that opened the flood gates.

I know. I was in the market and started pulling out when I found out what they had done.

Of course, I got to keep my stockmarket winnings . As for the R's, shafting folks is what they are good at. I was just more educated than the avg. Joe in the market.

Keep sticking it to the little people. GO KERRY !!

Enron is done. Arthur Anderson is pretty much done in terms of reputation. That happened under the Bush Administration, so, by the liberals logic, Bush can take credit for bringing these two down.

There is nothing wrong with Haliburton OR it's subsidiaries like Brown and Root or Red Adair. If you'd take off the liberal-clouded glasses and do your research you'd could find out that Clinton as WELL offered a no-bid contract to Haliburton. The difference? Bush did it in a time of peril. Clinton did it in a peaceful time. Which is worse?

As far as running the businesses, etc. better, you sound like a damn Socialist. You can NOT FORCE a company to keep jobs in the states. You can only offer incentives. Raising taxes on them will do NOTHING except force them to move jobs overseas to remain competitive.

You're hatred of big business is abhorant. Big business is the reason we are where we are today.....and why you can afford the luxuries you enjoy. They also employ millions of people... the same people you and your party seem to be for. Uh huh. However, these tax increases Kerry's talking about will effect ALL business owners, Ie. small businesses, etc.

Liberal policies are policies of failure. We enjoyed our prosperity in the 90's because of the booming information technology sector of which I was a part of. Harvard studies have shown Clinton's tax increases actually hindered our growth.

....but you go ahead and keep sipping away. We don't want facts getting in your way of reason.

Let me guess...do you live in Northern Ohio?

Speak for yourself chief...this Ohioan isn't voting Kerry.

And oh yeah, I'd blame Ohio's lost jobs on a certain Governer's office and state legislative branch before I'd go blaming the president...last time I checked he's President of the US, not President of Ohio. And even then you should go as far as holding a few city's mayors and city councils responsible for their lack of vision and planning. But I could go on and on, so I won't.
