Perhaps NBC brought the "I'm not worried about Osama bin Laden" quote out because it showed President Bush flat out ****ing lied to the American people (again) right there on stage.
Exaggeration? Kerry scored a bullseye. Dead on. Bush said it. Kerry called him on it.
If I'm Kerry, I take:
-- one of Bush's early "Osama, dead or alive quotes,"
-- the quote where he indicates he doesn't much give a **** where Osama is
-- the quote on TV where Bush looks like an imbicle falsely accusing Kerry of exaggeration
-- footage of the World Trade Center crumbling.
And hammer Bush for the next two weeks on swing state television.
If you want to talk about "COMPLETELY OUT OF CONTEXT," you need to start, first, with the lie Bush repeats -- at every opportunity -- that this "global test" somehow amounts to a world veto on American foreign policy.
It means no such thing, as anyone who watched that first debate knows. Kerry was clear. And Bush is lying.
As usual.
