Question: Where were you during the election of 2000, Dogger? The issue of restarting the economy was a central theme.

The reason that Cheney was talking about it in Dec of 2000 was that the decline had started. I said decline, not negative growth. Something had to be done so Bush-Cheney started pushing their idea to get things moving in the right direction.

You can't pick and choose the facts you use to back up your views. Ignoring the fact that other people were talking about the downturn in the economy is cheating. You've been busted.

And...talking down the economy is like yelling at a tree to move. It accomplishes exactly...nothing. If talking created reality, liberals would've killed off 150,000 American troops currently in Iraq.
