Alot of grief about missile defense has been going around, especially w/ Canada passing on supporting the work earlier this week.

About this time the uninformed chant the usual rhetoric that missile defense never works. While there is work to do, there is more success than is usually given credit.

BTW, shouldn't our news media be keeping citizens better informed? It's like they have an agenda not to, or something.

Interesting. The last thing I heard was that the latest test resulted in the missile blowing up on the launch pad. I think this was last week or so.

A bit of an exaggeration.

That test was for a different system. And the missile simply did not launch, due to electronics. The second time in as many months for that to happen. :bang:

This is good. I hope they have started working all the bugs out of this system finally. If Canada want's to give up on protecting their airspace, so be it. We'll take care of it as usual.
