It didn't take George Anderson more than five minutes in the North Carolina State locker room to realize the 14th- ranked Wolfpack would be able to recover from its first loss.

The senior defensive end saw more hurt than finger-pointing following a 24-17 defeat against Georgia Tech on Saturday -- a loss that ruined the team's perfect season.

"In my first couple of years when we lost a game you would find a lot of fighting and bickering," Anderson said Monday. "Sitting at the locker you would hear, "Well, if this guy did this or this guy would have done that we would have won.' But this year we didn't see that. So, to me, we've already answered the question about us."

The mood didn't surprise Anderson.

"It's a completely different atmosphere among the team," Anderson said. "We've grown closer. It goes back to this team having a lot of love for each other. Everybody has a lot of respect for one another."

"There was no reason to point fingers," coach Chuck Amato added. "You don't point fingers when you win so don't point that finger when you lose."

"Bounce back" to reality, maybe.

hehe..I knew you would have something to say..lol... NC State does need to end this 2 game skid. It's really suprising to me that its happen. We should be able to beat up on Virginia though..
