I thought the 10 million was substantiated. I don't know nor do I care. BTW, I'm not arguing anything. If I was on a "side" it would be with the parents.

Let me just say that if she had something on paper saying that she didn't want to be kept on a feeding tube, I would have no problem with this decision. However, it is one guys word....and it is hearsay. I do not believe a decision such as this should be based on hearsay.

On a somewhat related note, Jack Kevorkian is currently wasting away in prison with the possiblity of parole in about 2 years, at 77 and in declining health is there a chance that he may die in prison? Of course.

Perhaps if Dr. Kevorkian would have just starved his TERMINALLY ILL patients to death instead of adminstering the more humane methods that he did use, maybe he could have avoided prison, while at the same time still succeed in killing people.

I have a nephew who has suffered with intractable epilepsy and his brain has not been "in tact" since he was 18 months old. He is now 23 and we still love him and cherish his life. We would never consider ending his life for our convenience.
