We ain't talkin' Tar Heels here.........................

"As good as all this may sound to Duke fans, it gets even better. Luol Deng is the rare top-flight athlete who is even more impressive off the court than on. He speaks three languages fluently--his native tribal language, Arabic, and English--and his English is thoughtful and nearly flawless.

Luol comes from a family that really values education, and he's determined not to let his relatives down. "Whatever happens," he tells anyone who asks, "I'm going to graduate from college because graduating from college is the greatest thing I could do for my aunts."

The rest of the story:

Sounds like this kid's got his head on straight. Go Duke

Amen here!

Hoops, just because he is a top flight basketball player doesn't mean he won't graduate and it's bullcrap for you to assume so.

Even if we only get 3 years from Deng, or 2 even, that's 2-3 years of a great player and a great person.

I bet you wish you could say the same about DOH! and UNC, and I think that's part of the reason you're so bitter towards us.

How about exhibiting some class and say "nice pickup, he is a great player"?

Another great recruit for another great year of underachieving, eh? 03-wink

Kidding, good for Duke, Deng is a solid player, and has character... could we be seeing another Wooten Award winner for Duke?

Here's to a fight well fought by Fairfield, Indiana, and Mizzou 04-cheers
