What a friggin job of pitching! 9 scoreless innings, but it'll result in a no decision.

WOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Bases loaded and nobody out for the 'stros in the 10th, and somehow Reitsma got out of it. We play on, 0-0 into the 11th.

Ryan Langerhans! His first ML homer gives the Braves a 1-0 lead in the 12th.

Wow!!! That is all I can say. I have never in my life seen anything like that!

BTW, Time Hudson is now my hero. What a pitcher.

I am really growing tired of Andruw. I swear I've never seen such a waste of talent. Who cares if hits 30 homers and wins Gold Glove's every year? He has no discipline and hasn't gotten a big hit since the '96 World Series when he was just a kid.

Last night was a prime example of Andruw not using his head: 9th inning, Chipper at second, nobody out, Brad Lidge on the mound. Andruw comes up swinging for the fences instead of trying to hit the ball to the right side. Joe Simpson was practically pleading for him to hit it to the right side of the infield. But Andruw comes up and tries to yank one out of the ballpark against maybe the best relief pitcher in baseball. Of course he ends up striking out. Stupid.

Something like that.

The only good thing is that he is a streaky hitter, so once he breaks out of it he'll probably hit .500 with 5 homers for the next week.

You nailed it. His average has dropped 119 points in that 5 game stretch, and he has no runs, RBI's, etc either. 03-pissed

maybe willie did the giants a favor, and changed andruw's swing for the worse.

what's the guess on where he stops? i say he gets to 0 for 26 and then hits a double.

He always hits Zach Day, so he should break out of it tonight.

poor john smoltz. he will not get a win today because the braves failed to score him a run. they're currently losing 1-0. that team really can't hit.

damn, you guys are lucky. a throwing error scored two runs. without it, you would have squandered a bases loaded, none out situation.

I'm glad we got the win, but I don't even know what to say about this offense. Smoltz is lights-out, he deserves better.
