You are a friggin' embarrassment to your profession. Not only are you on pace to become the 4th team ever with 70 losses in a season, but it appears that you have totally gone in the tank. Another example - tonight's game at Charlotte (a team with the 2nd worse record in the league)...

Bobcats - 65
Hawks - 40

Halftime

The Hawks have officially completed what they set out to do a couple months ago...seal up the worst record in the NBA and get the highest odds of winning the draft lottery. Yes, the Hawks came flying down the stretch with a record of 2-29 since early Febuary (that's right, I said 2-29). Their run of excellence was capped off in Charlotte tonight, where the Bobcats once held a franchise record lead of 30 points and ended up winning by 21. Well done, I say! Let's hope that this terrific display of tanking it pays off with a #1 draft pick in June. 03-puke

It doesn't seem like that long ago when you could count on the Hawks to be good every year...but it really has been a long time. And there is no end to this losing in sight.

I dream for the days of Mookie Blaylock, Steve Smith, Christian Laettner, and the guys that led us to 8-9 straight playoff berths. We have have been bounced in the early rounds every year, but at least we made it in.

Who will we take 1st? Paul? We need a point guard and 2 guys down low. Well...and a shooting guard. :bang:

If we get the No. 1 pick, probably Andrew Bogut. That would be the safest move.

Somehow they pulled one out of the fire last night - a 139-135 OT win at the Knicks.
