WHAT PART OF "ILLEGAL" DON'T OUR POLITICIANS UNDERSTAND? Our pals at Casa de Maryland (of "We jumped Michael Graham at our pro-illegal immigration rally" fame) are going to collect $12 million for a "community center" in Montgomery County. Part of the money comes from county taxpayers and $1.5 million is coming from the state. For some reason, Republican Lt. Gov. Michael Steele is pushing this taxpayer gravy towards the folks at Casa--despite the fact that they openly promote immigration crime and currently run a county-funded jobs program that helps illegal immigrants find employment while evading the law.

Why? Why are taxpayers spending so much money to aid tax avoiders? Why are we spending county money on programs for illegals instead of programs for citizens or legal residents? ON WHAT PLANET DOES ANY OF THIS MAKE SENSE?

On Planet Maryland, I guess.

Just for the record, Barbara Mikulski (D-Md) got a bunch of fed money as well. So it's your tax dollars at work as well.
