I hope this hits the national media soon. This guy could make Delay look like a boy scout. Stealing from people who can least afford it. Shameful.

It just made Fox News.

<a href='http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,157825,00.html' target='_blank'>http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,157825,00.html</a>

Pretty watered down version though. It doesn't go through the road blocks that stymied the investigation for months. Last week Taft was saying how good of a person Noe is. It's in full blown protective mode now. Remember the abuse of power quote yesterday blah. I'm like freakin Nostradamus here man.

http://www.republicangear.com/

I didn't find the criminal thread. Maybe there's a special "pioneer" store for the really connected.

Republican politicians that are convicted are ostracized. Democrats are held with esteem.

I.e. a crook with SEVERAL federal charges:

<a href='http://www.charleswalkerforsenate.com/' target='_blank'>http://www.charleswalkerforsenate.com/</a>

...and he was re-elected.

Another one:

<a href='http://chronicle.augusta.com/stories/112598/met_augmayor.shtml' target='_blank'>http://chronicle.augusta.com/stories/11259..._augmayor.shtml</a>

Ed McIntyre was convicted of extortion as mayor and sent to prison. When he got out, he appealed for his rights to be restored and almost one the mayorship again.

To turn the tables,

Robin Williams, also of Augusta, will NEVER hold political office again nor will Linda Schrenko:

Was Charles Walker chair fund raiser for the state that delivered the presidency. NO!!! When we get to the bottom of this it may very well be that BWC funds went to the Bush/Cheney campaign. He is being investigated by the federal govt. for breaking campaign finance law too. Birds of a feather flock together. I bet you won't find Kerry frolicking with Charles Walker. This scam went to the White House for cryin out loud.

Can you show me where Bush has been implicated because I missed it.

A crook contributing to a campaign doesn't mean that the campaign is crooked. If that rules was followed, then the Clinton/Gore campaign was Chinese.

They are investigating whether some of these funds went towards the Bush/Cheney re-election campaign. i.e. the scam went to the W.H. or the occupants of the W.H.

That's incorrect.

Just because you want the administration to be involved doesn't mean that they are.

No, your incorrect. Just because you want something to be incorrect, doesn't make it incorrect. Just because you are of the opinion it is incorrect doesn't make it incorrect.

""A federal grand jury is expected to begin hearing from witnesses Wednesday. The U.S. attorney’s office has acknowledged that it is investigating Mr. Noe and law enforcement sources have said it centers on contributions made to a Bush-Cheney fund-raiser in October, 2003, at which Mr. Noe sponsored a table.

A number of local Republicans attended the $2,000-a-plate event. President Bush flew in for the luncheon, which raised $1.4 million for the campaign.""

Dogger,

I'm not saying that Noe didn't contribute, I'm saying that his contribution doesn't mean that Bush was involved in the scam.

You're making a leap based on your opinion.

Let-

1. Because they are investigating whether some of these funds went into his campaign, Bush's campaign is involved. I hope his campaign returns the stolen money to it's rightful owners, the citizens of Ohio.

2. I'm sure president Bush wasn't aware he was flying in to shake hands with a felon, but this man was a chair for his fund raising in Ohio. A state he desperately needed for his election. A state that if it went for Kerry, the president would have been back in Crawford, Texas.

3. I wonder how many radio ads that 1.4 million bought in Cleveland where Bernard Kerik said he was a non-partisan interview. Those commercial played for weeks and they were all lies.

I'm not opposed to that idea at all.

Quote:2. I'm sure president Bush wasn't aware he was flying in to shake hands with a felon...

That's all I've been saying.

Quote: 3. I wonder how many radio ads that 1.4 million bought in Cleveland where Bernard Kerik said he was a non-partisan interview.

a) Bush raised something like $132 million, didn't he? The thought of that is sickening all by itself, but does point to the fact that even without that $1.4 million, Bush still had a pile of money to campaign with.

b) Noe was listed as a donor in the $100,000-250,000 range. He didn't donate all $1.4 million.

The worst part about all this(at least for Tom Noe anyways) was that it was his wife and former Republican county chairperson Bernadette Noe, who inadvertantly triggered this whole investigation into her husband.
