I'd be suicidal right now if I was you. :( If music wasn't in my life, I'd be a very dull person. But the good thing about music is, they can't keep it out of your head. I think that was from Shawshank Redemption.

That's what I thought. But his style really meshes well with Regaee flavor. Check out "I'm a worried man."

Check out The Bravery if you like the sound of New Order. An Honest Mistake is a good song by them off of the self titled CD The Bravery.
Car CD has the best of the Smith's in it right now. Also, anything by Fred Eadlesmith is worth a listen.

The last few days has been full of Metallica, Master of Puppets, Guns N Roses, Use Your Illusion II, Skid Row, Slave to the Grind, and some Queen and Led Zepplin greatest hits.

Interested in picking up a CD featuring Calexico and Iron & Wine.
The Bravery is a good CD. I hear they may be opening for Depeche Mode on their fall tour.
I like Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, but can't get into their new song. They've lost a lot of their fuzzed-out guitar sound and are starting to sound quite ordinary.
Conjure One has a fine new CD out called Extraordinary Ways, if anyone's familiar with them. If you like recent Massive Attack with a hint of Delerium, this album's for you.
Any techno-heads out there familiar with Juno Reactor? Heard a couple tracks by them. Sounded pretty interesting.

OK.... David Lee Roth, Sammy Hagar, Gary Cherone, or _____ VH? :roflol:
Really I think DLR "made" VH VH. But Sammy Hagar had some good songs with them too. Basically after they got rid of both of them I quit carring about VH all together.

I've been listening to a lot of Warren Zevon (RIP) lately. I really like that crackhead Pete Doherty's new band, Babyshambles. Also, for you folks that like Jack Johnson and Ben Harper. Check out Xavier Rudd. He's fantabulous.

Hey LL, you're from NC right? Maybe this question should be posed in a new thread, seeing as you may never in your life see this, but what the hell. Have you heard of Wiskeytown? They are Ryan Adams' first band. I was just wondering if I should check out their music, because I'm unabashingly gay for his music.

What say ye of The Roots?
--Someone let me borrow their cd and I checked them out. THe CD he had was Illadelph Halflife. I kind of like it. Is there other stuff good?
Also helped myself to Slim Thug and Young Jeezy, Already Platinum and Thug Motivation 101 resepctivley, and they were pretty decent.
It took me several years but now I actually like Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory.
****
He got hooked up w/
RATM's cds, Metallica: Master of Puppets, Judgement Night soundtrack, Friday Soundtrack, and mix cds of old school Beastie Boys, Run DMC, LL Cool J, and Eric B and Rakim.

I love me some Roots. Gonna see them this Friday out here in Cincy. Phrenology is good. The Seed is such a fantastic song. If you get a chance to check out Cody Chestnutt (The Seed is his song, and he plays on the Roots version also), you will not be disappointed. He's like a new age Jimi Hendrix, sans those ridiculous guitar skills.
