Update: Boone was traded by the Mariners to the Twins Monday, reportedly for a player to be named later and cash, the Seattle Times reports.
Recommendation: Boone, who had been designated for assignment by Seattle eight days ago, gets a fresh start and the Twins get what figures to be an upgrade at second base. If Boone, who should step in as a starter out of the gate, was cut loose in your league and you are looking for help at second base, it's certainly worth grabbing him to see if the move does him well.
