Not as contrived as I thought it could be.

But I see no word if Paul Walker will return as the undercover cop. Or if they plan to either bring back Vin Deisel's or Tyrese's charachters.

I actually liked both movies.

Doubtful, that would ruin marketing for the fourth installment.

Quote:It's time once again to reach into the back seat and open the valves on the nitrous oxide tanks. Universal Pictures has chosen filmmaker Justin Lin to direct a third "Fast and the Furious" film, telling him to put the pedal to the metal and
begin shooting in the fall. Lin, best known for the 2002 independent feature and Sundance hit "Better Luck Tomorrow," had been attached to a remake of the Korean cult film "Oldboy" but will put that project in neutral. The street-racing sequel transplants the franchise to Japan, where the underground world of racing customized rides will yield the story of Shaun Boswell, an American skilled in the world of illegal street racing. Targeted by local authorities, Boswell escapes to Japan and discovers drift racing — a lightning-fast, gravity-defying pursuit set on intense courses full of hairpin turns and switchbacks. When he loses his first race to a Japanese crime lord, Boswell must figure out a way to pay off his debt to the Japanese mafia. There are no actors currently attached, and series stars Paul Walker and Vin Diesel will not be returning. The movie will screech into theaters on June 16, 2006. ...

Dang, I'd watch it only for Paul Walker, but he's not gonna be in it.

I actually liked the two movies.

Was it the realistic real-life and indepth acting that did it for you?

Vin Diesel is the Sylvester Stalone of generation Y.....Yo Adrian.

The 2nd one was bad beyond belief.

When Mr. Pretty boy Paul Walker said "I said forget about it, cuz" I almost burst off my seat laughing.

I'm a worse person for watching that movie.

Yeah, it somehow doesn't matter what is being said or done when the girl you are looking at is hot. I must not be the only one that thinks that as Pammy Anderson is on her 3rd really dumb show. You could also use examples like Jenny McCarthy's show or even Charmed.

I am man enough to admit that I wouldn't be watching girls like my avatar for their mind enriching performances.

Never saw F&F2, had absolutely no desire. After getting a recommendation for F&F, I rented it and watched it. Seemed to me like a remake of Point Break, with Paul Walker playing the Keanu Reeves part to a T.
