Detroit leads by 26 points in the 4th quarter of game 4. They have led by a lot right from the start.

Series will be tied at 2-2 and the last two games have been a direct reversal of the first two. This is anyone's series right now.

I think Detroit will win Game Five to go up 3-2 heading to San Antonio, which brings up the age-old question - would you rather be up up 3-2 with the last two games on the road, or down 3-2 with the last two games at home? I think the Spurs have to like their chances even down 3-2 because they are so strong at home.

Regardless of how this series turns out, I'm really pleased to see the Pistons make this a drawn out beat-down series. A sweep, or even a 4-1 loss, would've been bad.

After receiving two butt-kickings, it was nice to give two back.

Pistons bench was on FIRE tonight. :drink:

maybe someone with better NBA knowledge can tell me, but isn't it right that no home team has ever won all of the middle 3 games in this format? I know the Pistons are tough at home, but I also have to think that the Spurs can/will make whatever adjustments necessary to try and win Game 5.

The Pistons won all 3 at home last season against the Lakers to win the series 4 games to 1. I believe that was the first time that a team won all 3 in a row at home though.

It is tough to do, but both the Spurs and Pistons are so good at home I can see Detroit going up 3-2 going back to San Antonio. If that happens, the Spurs still have to feel good about their chances though. Of course the Pistons are a very good road team too and could easily steal one to win the title.

Game 5 was a really great game but I feel like SA will close it out at home now.

It was a great game. How Detroit could leave Horry wide open for a 3-pointer with 5 seconds left in OT is beyond me, but it was a great game.

Robert Horry has been the Spurs best player, IMO. Even in games 3 and 4 he seemed to be the one out there hustling after every loose ball and blocking some shots and getting steals. He then comes up with 18 points I believe in the 4th quarter and OT last night in a game that probably decided the NBA title. This guy does this every year in the playoffs too. He has played on 5 NBA Champion teams, soon to probably be 6. Unbelievable.

I don't know what was worse, Sheed's defense (allowing Horry to shoot the wide open 3) or Rip's offense (forcing up 3 ill-advised shots in OT, esssentially costing the Pistons the game.)
