Ahead of there time, the Stone Roses actually wrote this all time classic in 1984, and first recorded it in 1985. Here is the original recording and the version actually released in the iconic 1989 debut album. In my opinion their music is incredibly creative and still far different from anything else. I believe their self titled debut album is among the greatest ever, and every song on it a masterpiece.

I was a major fan of those bands. Never saw Zeppelin live though I did see Page and Plant solo. I was probably the biggest Led Head in school. Did see Judas, Leppard and Sabbath in concert each a few times. Only Maiden once. But I was also growing up in a time of the new wave and MTV influence and liked particular songs from across the pond.

This is what happens when I have a night to myself. Beer, remembering, and nothing I want to watch on tv. A little all over the place but still good.

Man, on a week of vacation and and going through some some goodies but oldies.....
