Alright! Enough already. I am going to stop ragging on the fact that UGA has to play a 4 loss FSU team in the Sugar Bowl. From now on I am viewing this game as a showdown between the SEC Champs and the ACC Champs.

Will all of you FSU fans and ACC fans finally admit we are right about everything once the DAWGS pound the **** out of the Criminoles?

Noley, I don't hate FSU. I know my Sugar Bowl post is a long thread, but if you read the whole thing you would see that I said at one point that FSU was always my 2nd favorite team and Bowden has always been my favorite coach. You missed the whole point of my post, but most of you have.

And I am supposed to be grateful to FSU for what Richt knows? No, I am grateful that Vince Dooley had the sense to hire him.

And to you Hokie, my Sugar Bowl post started long before we knew we were playing you guys, so that had nothing to do with it either.

Hey guys, I have meet YouGeeAye and a few of the UGA fans over on their board and although they kinda came off strong, I have enjoyed the banter over there.

UGA scares the crap out of me after that SEC title game. They have so much speed and talent, and are the best coached ballteam in the SEC. UGA should win this game and probably win big.

But, if I was putting money on this game, I would bet on Florida State. Nobody has really payed too much attention to these guys this year, and they have had yet another down year... I sure wish Arkansas down years included conference titles... but the point is that this is the first time in years that I know almost nothing about FSU. Which means they have something to prove, and that Bobby will light quite a fire under them.

There is no way in heck that I will miss this game. Its my pick for the best bowl game of the year.

BigOlHog...I agree with you wholeheartedly. UGA fans are not bad people. A lot of what UGI has posted, as well as many of my posts were intended to create discussion and debate.

I believe the Dawgs are the best coached team in the SEC (most games) and I give Bobby Bowden's system credit as the reason why Mark Richt is the SEC Coach of the Year. What I have said in previous posts was that Mark Richt has learned from Vince Dooley the art of praising your opponent.

I have no doubt that Coach Richt would have preferred to play Southern Cal in the Sugar Bowl, but the match up against FSU has a poetic sense of justice to it. Richt has taken this Georgia team to a place it hasn't been in 20 years. Now to cap off this great season he will face his former mentor against a team loaded with players he recruited. Should Richt beat Bowden it just might be the watershed event in his young career as a head coach. And let's be honest: beating FSU DOES mean something to UGA fans as well as the team. FSU has been the one of the most successful programs over the last 10 years. To beat them is validation for any team.

I once went to 'Lanta but got stuck on one of them escalator machines and promised myself I wouldn't go back there so I ain't real familiar with the North Avenue Trade School. Do they really have women folk there now? I always thunk it was just a school for really whiz-bang smart city boys.
