He's a Tiger. He's standing here with a Tiger hat on. His mom is so happy. He can't wait to play. He's expecting to have the same impact Duke had to the offense. He wants to play tomorrow in blue and gray. I didn't see any press here from Memphis. Maybe I could email them a picture. I couldn't tape the press conference.

Chatt, I've been sitting on Cam's committment for 2 weeks, every since Tommy was here. I don't think that Tommy told him to keep it quiet but it was the kids news to tell. The visit to Arkansas surprised me, because he had cancelled his visit earlier. He wants to be a WR and he wants to play. I would have been happy for the kid regardless, but he's off the chain now.

I hope he does to. For his sake, because if he's not successful it will crush the kid. What excites me about the kid is his passion for the game. Anybody can run a 4.4, but only those with the passion to work succeed. He already knows what number he's gonna wear. 2 days after graduation he moves in to room with Joe Doss to start summer workouts. He's a kid but he's not some wideeyed rookie . He studies his craft. Very respectful and that will come across when he deals with the public. His success in life will not be measured in number of catches but he will bring joy to Tiger fans hearts.

Hey, I've scored on Anfernee Hardaway, Micheal Wilson, heck for that matter I dogged Tony Delk in his backyard. He was a freshman in high school at the time and made it perfectly clear the next time I played him that he was on a whole new level. That didn't make me a pro. I had the passion not the ability. Some kids have the ability not the passion. It's rare that you meet a kid with both. Cam appears to be that kid.
