The Mountaineers scored their 1 run in the top of the 1st inning. The Noles tied it up in the bottom of the 1st, got another run in the 3rd, got 5 runs in the 5th inning, and 1 run each in the 6th and 7th innings. The final score game two was 9-1. The Noles have now won 7 games in a row. 04-bow

Go Seminoles 04-cheers

Coach Mike Martin, Sr. took Stephen Drew out of the game around the 3rd inning for not going after a fly ball. Bryan Zech took his place at shortstop. We were worried at first, when everyone thought Stephen was injured.

We have a new set of brothers playing for the Seminoles... junior outfielder Matt Sauls, who hit his 1st homerun, yesterday and freshman pitcher Mark Sauls. Mark is 3-0 as a starter. 04-cheers

Pitching is a huge plus in college baseball, so many teams are without depth at that position. Between the aluminum bats and all the great hitters out their its tough. Part of ASUs early success this season is due to strong pitching. This was their biggest concern heading into this season as they lost their #1 Starter and their Closer Phil Esposito from last season, thus far the Devils have gotten great pitching!
