Why the postponement? Was there a problem with the field in Kinston? Wake & UNC managed to play their game in Chapel Hill and that is close by...

Thanks for the info. I feel for NC State being vagabonds this season while they renovate their stadium. Never knowing what the conditions will be like on the "field du jour"... :frown: Thank goodness the rain should be gone for awhile...

You're welcome Lucy. Yeah, I feel for them too. FSU's stadium is being rebuilt, but it's together enough for them to be able to play in it.
Per Drew Hankin in an email he sent me...
Saturday's doubleheader between No. 2 Florida State and No. 25 NC State has been pushed back to a 4:00 p.m. first pitch. The two teams will play a pair of nine-inning games at Grainger Stadium in Kinston, NC. FSU LHP Matt Lynch (6-0) will face NC State RHP Michael Rogers (5-1) in game one and FSU LHP Trent Peterson (4-0) will get the start against NC State RHP Vern Sterry (5-0) in the second game.
Sure hope we get to play today
Go Noles
