Tony "Lonewolf" McQuade got a hit and stole second. Tony Ritchie hits a double with 2 outs and McQuade comes home to tie the game up at 1-1. Jerrod Brown gets a hit and Ritchie comes home and the score is now Noles 2, Deacons 1. Brown tried to stretch his hit and is out.

Wake tries to steal 3rd and Tony Ritchie throws him out

Blake Balkcom hits a double. Chris Hart gets a single and Balkcom is at 3rd. Wake turns a double play and Balkcom comes home and the score is now Noles 3, Wake 1 after 2 innings

Bottom of the 3rd, Drew gets a single, Eddie bunts on, and McQuade gets a double. Drew goes home. Ritchie gets a hit and Eddie comes home. Brown gets an rbi, bringing home McQuade. So the Noles gets 3 runs and the Noles leads 6 to 2

Wake gets 2 more runs making the score FSU 6, Wake 4 in the top of the 5th.

With 2 outs, Tony McQuade hits a triple driving home Eddy ME. Tony Ritchie is now at bat. At the end of 6 innings, Noles 7, Wake 4.

In the bottom of the 8th, Tony Ritchie just hit a homerun with 2 men on base. FSU 10, Wake 4

Top of the 9th, Wake hits a homerun with one man on. The score is FSU 10, Wake 6.

And Wake gets another run in... it's Noles 10, Wake 7.

The Noles sweep Wake Forest. The Seminoles are now 31-5 and 9-3 in conference play

That series was huge for you guys, congrats on the sweep, your now in the drivers seat for the conf title and will climb in the polls, based on the season so far I say you take 2 of 3 from GT, I know Techfan won't like this assesment but thats what I predict.

Just remember SDSundevil, the Noles have to go to Atlanta to play Georgia Tech this year, and it sure won't be easy... :rolleyes: :D
