Our O-Line was NOT one of the 5 best in the country last year. I thought it was a big disappointment. I don't know who wrote that, but he didn't watch much UGA football last year.

Even though UGa will have a young O-line, I still don't think they will have a problem with the taters D-line. If they were opening with Auburn or perhaps UT, then they may have a problem.

They had plenty of problems with our D-Line last year. We lost Nick Eason and Bryant McNeil. We already had a bigger and badder run-stopper waiting in the wings behind Eason. The only question remaining is who steps up to replace McNeil.

UGA loses the entire front 5 of probably the best offensive line they've had in over a decade.

"Just cuz" theories not accepted on this thread, 1st. Give me some logical reasoning for your opinion.

.......No shame if you can't. You're not the first one in that position. 03-wink

I don't care how many starters we lost. Jean-Gilles, Brock and Tanner got tons of playing time last year and IMO we were better when they were in there.

They weren't the best O-Line UGA had in years though. The 1999 line was incredibly new and did a great job. Anyone could see that the Seniors Front 5 struggled tremendously in the first half of the season. When the backups came in, they got MUCH better. I guess people just don realize this.

So you're telling me that your first team offensive line was way over-rated and didn't contribute much ???
