From GoPack.com:

Kooistra Inks Deal with Bengals
Former Wolfpack tackle was a 7th round draft pick.

June 3, 2003

CINCINNATI- Scott Kooistra, an offensive tackle from NC State, has agreed to terms on his first NFL contract with the Cincinnati Bengals. According to ESPN.com, the 6-6, 304 pound Cary native agreed to a three-year deal that includes a signing bonus. A seventh round pick in this year's NFL Draft, Kooistra overcame a series of knee injuries earlier in his career to become a solid starter for the Wolfpack in 2001 and 2002.

Kooistra's deal with the Bengals is reportedly worth $951,000 and includes a $41,000 signing bonus.

Although hampered during an injury plagued sophomore campaign, Kooistra was named NC State's most improved offensive lineman in 2000. He then came back to start every Wolfpack game in his junior and senior years, including last January's Gator Bowl victory over Notre Dame.
