I've just noticed lately that when you refer to Duke, you type a lowercase dook.

Just curious...any reason for not capitalizing it? Is it just a way to degrade them as much as possible?

Yes, but I mainly just do it out of habit now. I've been doing it so long that it comes naturally... like signing my own name.

It all comes with being a Tar Heel -- as a student and fan, you learn that "dook" is the way to refer to that school over there. "Dook" is giving them too much credit. 03-wink

It's all in good fun, though. If I'm on a dook message board, I'll type "Duke" so as to be respectful (well, mainly to keep from getting banned).
