I drove all the way up for that game. It got right up to kickoff, the lightening struck, it began to pour, and everyone huddled under the stadium. I froze my arse off.
Lee Corso's rental car being hit was the only redeeming part of the trip.

Actually, I think he had just predicted GT to win because I remember that being the irony of the lightning strike and the origin of the "God is a Hokie" shirts. Of course, I now see he made that prediction off the air, so I dunno.
