(40) Joseph Forte was at UNC for 2 yrs and left after a great year of basketball. He was drafted to the Boston Celtics, then traded to the Seattle Supersonics...
Now hes been cut by this team...seems like its seattles fault for wanting to bench him after a small fight in the locker room...He would have probably been magnificent if he had stayed and developed in to a better "Joseph Forte"! Anyone agree?

"Off the court, Forte is scheduled to appear in Harford (Md.) County District Court on Oct. 23 to face misdemeanor drug- and gun-possession charges, the paper reported."

How hard is it to stay out of trouble in the NBA?
Very hard apparently.

A lot of these guys are treated like royalty in high school, college, etc... and then they get tons of money thrown at them in the NBA. They think they're above the law. Joseph is one of these, apparently.

I would throw Rasheed in the same category, but at least Rasheed knows something about giving back to the community. This is something that Forte hasn't grasped yet.

I wonder if Sonics coach Nate McMillan (Wuffie) enjoyed giving him the boot...
