Any predictions on the bowl that we're going to go to now? Since we've blown our season, once again at the dreadful mark we do every year, I wonder if it will be a respectable bowl and if we'll get a respectable team in it?

 true but when your sights were set on a nice BCS...

don't know about others but I would almost rather not go to a bowl game then go to say the "Diamond Walnut San Francisco Bowl"...I mean come on...and play say....ohhh...Air Force or Southwest Northest North South West East New Mexico State...(no offense Lobos fans but your state was the 1st to pop in mind)

The way it's going now, the Gator and Insight.com look to be our best bets. I agree about the San Fran Bowl. I don't know if I could stomach that again. :snore:

Yeah, the S.F. bowl again would be as nice as the Gaylord Perry Bowl. I think right now we're slotted for, as if we're supposed to be jumping up and down, the Continental Tire Bowl in Charlotte, NC. I saw this exact bowl last year when UVa whooped up on WVU. One of the WVU fans had the nerve to hold up a sign (which they showed on the jumbo tron...or as you UVa fans call it the "Hoo Vision") which said "The best part of Virginia went West in 1863..."blah

Is the Big East title still up for grabs? I did read that Miami has 2 games left, with the last one being Pitt. With the way the Canes are playing lately, I don't really think right now they can get by Pitt.

I remember when Dan Marino was quarterbacking Pitt and they came to Tallahassee. My son and I were at that game. Back in those days, we had what we called an erector stadium and you went underneath to get your food from the vendors. Well, it was halftime, the score tied at 17 all, and we went to get some hotdogs and cokes. As we were coming out, my son says, "Mom, look at all those bugs!" Turns out it wasn't bugs, it was pouring down rain. Pitt killed the Noles in the second half of that game.

Right now there is a 3-way tie for 1st place in the Big East between WVU, Pitt, and Miami. If it comes down to is they take the highest ranked team which is Miami to represent so then Miami would get an automatic bid to a BCS bowl, I believe. Thanks again for posting...it's pretty boring over here. I'm usually here every day 2-3 times a day.

Miami is having quarterback problems... last week they put in their backup who only threw for 80 yards and had 2 intercepts if I remember correctly. Berlin isn't having a much better year. I don't see Miami beating Pitt this year. So I'll be cheering for Vtech to win the Big East... :D

04-cheers
