By the end of this semester... Something fairly big will need to happen for him to stay.

Did I say they WOULD coexist or COULD coexist?

Where did I imply he would still be around? I just told you that if the situation happened... Dockery and Livingston could coexist... I would not imply anything because it's not even a sure thing whether or not Livingston will be at Duke next season.

I've been quiet for a couple reasons... This board is going to hell... Come basketball season no rational discussion happens... Just a bunch of Duke bashing... It's been a busy few days, also...

If he leaves... I think it'll be at the end of the semester... He hasn't made up his mind yet, but he is very serious about potentially transferring.

Dock is a heck of a ball player. He is not getting the pt he wants. I cannot blame him for leaving, although I think it sucks.

Notice he played a lot and started last night... I think he told K to give him the minutes he wants so he can prove himself. K probably said OK... I'll give you the minutes, but if you don't prove yourself, good riddance.

Why don't he come on over to Tech? We sure do like guards here! Oh wait, oh he's from Duke, oh, in that case, naw we'll pass.

I didn't get to watch the game, but from what I've read it seems that K had a lot of good things to say about Dock. This would be great if we had a PG to spell Duhon and could also play the 2 so we have Duhon and Dock pressing their back-court all the way up the floor. One undeniable fact: Dock is quick. He may be too aggressive and get some calls against him, but he is one fast lateral player. If he turns out like Ewing, and becomes a scoring threat (or even a partial threat), Duke could become very serious competitors for the championship.

Dock even being on the team shows how much K has lowered his standards. The fella can't even read on a third grade leve but he can get into a school like Duke.

because Dan Wetzel wrote an extended column about it smartass...

Quote:So Krzyzewski sat the two prime defensive offenders, J.J. Redick and Daniel Ewing, and sent out backup Sean Dockery, who seems to live in a defensive crouch, to set a tone.
