TIP-OFF: 7 p.m., Leon County Civic Center, Tallahassee
TV/RADIO: ESPN2; WQYK, 1010 AM

NEED TO KNOW: FSU senior PG Nate Johnson has a knee problem similar to tendinitis that could prevent him from playing tonight or limit his minutes. His absence would make it difficult for the 'Noles, who would turn to sophomore Todd Galloway. Galloway would be backed up either by senior Tim Pickett or senior walk-on Emanuel Gordon. Gordon has appeared in five games and played a total of eight minutes this season. ... FSU has lost four consecutive games (three in the ACC) and would join Clemson in a tie for last in the ACC with a loss. ... Carolina is ranked seventh nationally but is 1-2 in the ACC, with a triple-overtime 119-114 loss to Wake Forest in December and a six-point loss at Maryland last week. ... Rashad McCants leads the Tar Heels and is second in the ACC in scoring at 17.8 ppg. Teammate Sean May is third in the league in scoring (16.5) and second in rebounding (10.2). Jawad Williams (14.7) also is among the top 10 scorers in the ACC, while PG Raymond Felton leads the ACC in assists (8.1). ... Carolina is last in the ACC in scoring defense, giving up 75.3 points a game. FSU is second-best in that category, trailing Duke.
