Have you only been watching ACC basketball for the last couple of years????

Coach K's history at Duke is well documented, I'm sure you can find it somewhere. He was a nobody when he was hired at Duke. His claim to fame was that he had been an assistant to Bobby Knight and coach at the perennial basketball powerhouse Army.

Of course at that time UNC had been dominating the ACC. Dean Smith had his way with the refs and the phrase "home cookin" was coined in Chapel Hill........

Yeah, it was all handed to him the moment he stepped on Duke's campus, the media just rolled over that day and it's been peaches and cream at Duke ever since and they all lived happily ever after.

I'm sure K is not gonna tell the media to lay off. He ain't stupid.

Do a little research on K's first 10 years at Duke, William's probably had a better first 10 years at UMD.

If Maryland is not getting the national exposure that you think they should I can assure you that it's not K's fault.

And what difference does it make what state the ACC tournament championships are won in? None of the 3 national championships were won in NC. Most of the ACC tournys are played in NC and have been long before K made the scene. They used to play them in Reynolds in Raleigh. NC has the most ACC schools per state in the ACC, forgive us for that too.

Williams is great. Duhon is pretty good but he plays on a great team that carries him. Maryland does more with less. Oswald had help. The government is hiding UFO's. Please God help me.

They played a great game against a very good team and won.
