Included in their list are Duke Calhoun and Martez Smith.
Also on the list is Courtney Smith, a UAB commit. Haven't seen anything since UAB got a 4 star commit from Jared Smith of Mobile, but I wonder if that would make Courtney reconsider. I think we were his other option besides UAB.

I do find it ironic that three of the five listed were guys the Tigers recruited.
Speaking of which, Martez Smith and CJ Bailey were suppose to announce their decisions yesterday. Any rumblings out there? I know Bailey had earlier committed to USM but was blown away by his visit this weekend and he's possibly re-considering, and Smith is a late riser. Would love to see the Tigers land both of these guys.

Quote:Moss Point (Miss.) cornerback C.J. Bailey spent some time weighing his options this weekend while visiting Memphis. The two star prospect is verbally committed to Southern Mississippi but went ahead and took a visit to Memphis to see what they had to offer and he came back impressed. "I loved the visit. Everything about it was wonderful. I would consider it my best visit so far," Bailey said. Is he thinking about the Tigers now?
don't have full access, but that is the lead paragraph over a rivals article from yesterday. I think the CA said he wants to get his parents up to visit before he signs anywhere.

I think CJ will be a good player. We were on him hard early on, but it appears we just didnt have room for him, or found guys the coached liked better. He and Govan were two I wanted early on.

Martez Smith has signed with USM. C.J. Bailey has now also signed with USM.

I saw that. It is somewhat disappointing that we lost several recruits to USM. I would have thought that moving past USM on the field the past couple of years would have given us an advantage recruiting wise, but obviously not.

moving past USM on the field the past two years?? You guys beat us by a combined 6 points and you had probably the best back in the nation those years. USM probably had the worst two years they have had in a long time.
You will soon wake up!
36-19 overall against Memphis, they may look at that also,oh yeah and the 4 C-USA rings we have

to be fair, you guys did have Rip as OC for the first one so that one probably should not even count. lmfao
