Apparently doh was offered the job and JMU couldn't come up with the big bucks. Looks like a Tech assistant (Keener) is gonna get the job.

I would think that would be a good way to get back in to coaching for doh, he's never gonna step in to another situation like he did at UNC until he proves he can coach and it's not like he's got a job now.......

Doh still thinks he's in the running for the St. John's job.

I can't begin to get into his head, but I think the fact that he likes what he's doing now is weighing in a bit. I know he's itching to coach again -- and that's what he ultimately wants to be doing -- but I don't think he's desperate for a job. So, he wants to make sure he takes a job he really wants. To him, it won't be a huge loss if he doesn't get the St. John's or Miami jobs (I think he'd liked either of those). He'll gladly keep on with what he's doing and wait for something else he'd like to do.

And, I can appreciate that.

Ahhhhhhhh...JMU...very cute boys. :tasha:

I was actually surprised hearing that JMU wanted Doh. I've never thought of JMU being that kind of school that could get someone like him. Maybe that's just cause it's so close to me and nothing ever exciting happens around here.

Are you kidding? JMU had one of my favorite coaches of all times - - "The old Lefthander" for about 10 years.

Doh should feel honored to be considered to sit on the same bench Lefty coached from.
