Summary: "This fall the Florida State football coach will be doing something most 74-year-olds in Florida, or anywhere, don't do. He'll be working.

On a steamy Friday afternoon in Haines City, Bowden rolled in off the golf course on a cart at Southern Dunes and into the club house. There he talked to members of the media about his future at a program he brought to national prominence.
...
Visiting the Seminole Club of Polk County, Bowden said he sees no end in the immediate future to a career that began in 1959 at Samford University.
...
"The longer you're in the game, the more you delegate," said Bowden, who later Friday evening spoke at a banquet in Winter Haven.

"I'm still involved a little bit. It's not like it was when I first started and I made every call and I didn't want much help.

"As you get older and you hire good people, you realize they can look at film eight hours a day and I can only look at it for three."

Yes, Bowden is more of an overseer now, but when a critical moment comes up in the game, he doesn't hesitate to make the call. And he intends to make those calls for an indefinite time to come."

as much as i hate fsu beating up on us every year(except for a couple years ago when we :ownd: the noles), i'm glad he's sticking around, i like Bobby B.
