We were scheduled to play Butler High from Huntsville who featured Ralph Sampson, Jr.. Our contracts required that our high profile players be present. sampsom transfered to Atlanta and the sponsors wanted a replacement school. I asked them to call Bolivar and they agreed to play. the game will be at Vandy.

That is sad, but that is the business. ESPN would not broadcast the games without the best players. If UofM did not have talent they would not be on TV as much. As I stated sad but true.

You might want to take this part out. You are an AD at a high school with kids under 18 years of age. You wonder why some people question you here.

Do you not get it? It is not the fact they want the best players to play. It is the fact they want high school kids on ESPN at all. Mitchell seems to be adding fuel to the fire by participating in such an event. Who is sponsoring this game besides ESPN? Is Mitchell getting paid and if so will the money go to the school (arts, school supplies) or a 4 story Thadd billboard?
