Just curious. . .
Has the CA released its area 12 most wanted h.s. football stars? If so, could someone be so kind as to post them, or the link where I could find them?
Thanks!

I know that the #1 juco football player in america is from Memphis, he played AAU ball with us when he was 15 and 16, then moved to Fla., he's a 6'5" 280 ib. DE that runs a 4.6 forty. His name is Louis Holmes.

I don't even know if the staff knows about him. He's listing USC, UCLA, Arizona, UT, Fla. and LSU.

my guess is they know about him, but how do you compete with such heavy hitters?

regardless of what people think of our position in the football world, we cannot compete with national names recruiting-wise.......we can take a few guys from the surrounding schools every year, but when the national teams start to get mentioned and are mentioned seriously, not just listed by the kid hopefully, you can almost always count us out........
staff probably does know about the kid, but also knows that its resources would be better spent on attainable prospects......

Avery, BB, Doss, Doucette, Willie H, Hudgens , Hinds, McCrary, Pearce, Rockette, Starr, Pitts, E Williams, and DeMangelo.
We competed with plenty of national names for these recruits.

I don't consider SEC schools national names.....I am talking about the USCs and teams of that nature.........you show me where any of those guys beside DW got serious attention from the Miamis and Michigans and Notre Dames of the world and I will retract that statement - unfortunately, it just isn't the case.......also, just because a kid lists a school doesn't mean that school is seriously recruiting them......
