#6. The question is, can they win the big games. I think this team is overrated a bit.

Don't know about being overrated...we do have some question marks going into the season especially at wide receiver and the secondary. Everywhere else is stockpiled with some of the better players in college football. Every game is a big game to us with respect to our hated Yankee rivals north of the Red River. I often wondered if we do take down the Sooners this year...would it be considered a big game anymore???

There is no question they have talent, but just like Ohio State can't beat Michigan it doesn't matter, if they can't beat Oklahoma it doesn't matter.

Ohio State can't beat Michigan? They've won 2 of the last three years! Texas has the talent, just not the right coach. If you're a football program that is just fine with going 9-2 or 8-3 every year, Brown is your guy. If you want to go to the next level, look elsewhere.
Texas loses to OU this year as always and then also loses another game they shouldn't (I'm gonna say A&M shocks them) and they finish 9-2. They will end up in the Holiday Bowl against Cal and will lose there too to end 9-3 ranked #14.

Actually, UT leads the series against OU 55-38-5. True, they've won the last 4 but previously UT was 7-2-1 against the Sooners in the '90s. If Mack can't figure out a way to beat them again then we'll simply get another coach who will.

No friggin way the Aggies beat us in Austin this year. A&M teams traditionally fall apart when they have to play us at home. Texas Tech, on the other hand, may be another matter as we get them in Lubbock.

Well, UT will lose a game it shouldn't like always. Texas Tech is another possibility since it's a rivalry but you guys have more talent and if they hadn't beaten you last year, it would be more likely. TT is very dangerous though. Missouri and Ok State are other possibilities. Don't laugh but Baylor is led by Guy Morriss and he had UK doing pretty well in his 2nd season after a 1st season disaster so who knows. A win over UT would be HUGE and it's not impossible, though improbable.
