The "thug" description to me describes a cheesy meathead. It may very well be that the guy who posted it pictured a black guy, so I probably shouldn't speak for what someone else was thinking. I can say, however, that I personally only picture urban rednecks who try to act "thug" when I think of a lot of MSU students.

Except that's not what I said. I said I have black friends I consider as close as brothers.

Meanwhile, Memphis is segregated into white and black, with schools segreated pretty much along those lines.

Second, the only burning cross photo I've seen on here was on this board, posted by a Memphis State fan as his idea of an Ole Miss pep rally.
