Tough game! It's hard to blame a free throw at the end of regulation when we're 25/26 at the time of the shot at the FT Line. That little rumble at the end of the game was interesting. I thought the coaches and good portion of the players reacted well. The coaches are not gonna be happy that they were thrown and bumped around. Will there be a fine from the A-Sun?

I'm ready for Jacksonville in the tourney, lets go!!

Anyone see the replay of the game-tying three pointer? Most of the people sitting around me thought his foot was on the line, and the officials didn't seem to review it.

I felt like the officials actually finished the game poorly. The overtime foul call on Aaron was bogus. The ref was in poor position and there was no contact. And then they didn't award the timeout call on the saved ball with about 10 seconds left and Mercer down by 2.

Anyone see what actually started the fight? I'm guessing that Jacksonville's celebration bumped into Mercer players still on the floor, but I didn't see the first contact.

Oh well, the Bears bounced back nicely on Sunday, and I think they'll be pumped to play Jacksonville again in the tournament.

Toby - The JU shooter did have his foot behind the 3 point line. I thought he was on the line til I saw the replay, he had a few inches to spare.

I agree with all of your other points -- that touch foul in OT was insane. Then Aaron and Florence get mugged after the steal and there is no call.

At least the game doesn't have much impact, probably just the color of jersey we wear against JU in the tourney. I think we would play them either way.
