If you vote no, why? With all the griping and whining on this board about not being in the SoCon and how bad the ASun is, this is the way to move forward. The way I look at is if you don't contribute to bringing the program back then you have no right to complain about the conference we are in.

Its time to put your money where your mouth is. If you want football, there is no better time to give than the present.

I'll be giving, and only to football. They've got PLENTY of money for the other sports now earmarked from student fees, etc, so all my donations will go only to football.

This is the link to the membership application for the Buc Football & Friends Foundation.

http://www.bucfootball.com/application.html

A foundation led by ex-football players to restore football at ETSU. It is our intentions to bring a new and improved team back to school to benefit students, alumni and the region. A new stadium, a new marketing approach, broader support from the community, smarter scheduling, a BETTER conference should result in an improved product and a better game day experience.

Thank you to the people who have said they would contribute to the effort. I will remind you that the end of March is fast approaching. We need to have a total of $300,000 by then.

Good to see a website is setup for you guys. One of our alumni through organzation on http://Ninernation.net (our board) started a website about a year ago (http://www.charlotte49erfootball.com) which started taking non-binding pledges toward football. This organiztion Charlotte Football Initiative which has a large contigent of student involvement has got the attention of the local media (TV & Print & Radio) and finally the president and Board of Trustees.
