I see that the Campbell baseball coach resigned in early to mid January. I don't know anything about him, but it's strange to see at this time of year. Any ideas of what happened and what this means for Campbell baseball this year?

took a sales job....the new assistant coach (former player) was named interm...I suspect they will go out and get someone after the season

Was that the same coach that was either let go or didn't get a contract extension a couple of years ago only be kept on a couple of weeks later? I can't recall his name but I beleive he played at VA Tech.

Chip Smith....yes he was let go and then rehired just a couple weeks later a few weeks ago.

He is from Va. Tech and actually interviewed for the Va. Tech jump last summer.
