Gardner-Webb hammered again
The Runnin' Bulldogs went all the way up to Madison, Wisconsin last night and got punished with a 98-40 defeat (Nothing like that point a minute offense!).

I think all but one of us predicted this as the biggest OOC loss for the ASUN this week. I am going to go out on a limb here and say that those prognostications will prove accurate.

One encouraging thing is that Ricky McPhee nailed 4 of 8 from beyond the arc. GWU will need him badly in ASUN play.

As an interesting side note, Gardner-Webb is only one of two teams in this great country (Ohio State the other) to have played two games AT top 5 teams.

I've felt for a while that Wisconsin is the toughest team in the country... but that's still a tough beating. Conference play starts real soon!
