Volleyball team chokes
They didnt lose a game in the conference season this year, then they blow it in the first round of the ASUN tournament. Is anyone surprised? Why do we always seem to choke?

Those undefeated regular season records (regardless of the sport) always worried me. Soon the law of averages catches up with you.

Coaching, coaching coaching. I don't care how many beach volleyball leftovers you recruit from California, ya have to be able to coach at some point, and a volunteer high school JV coach just doesn't cut the damn mustard.
That being said I wouldn't be suprised if she got a raise.

Yes I agree it was a big disappointment. It is really all about the coaching. It does not matter what the sport: it all gets back to coaching. This is the same problem we now have with basketball. ETSU has shown in the past that they can win and win big time with the proper coaching but we have to have people hiring the right coaches.

I mean if dang, if they were going to go the high school route, then they could have atleast gotten the coach Gate City, Battle or Abingdon. They've all won state championships, and been great coaches.
