Campbell Athletics and the Law School
I'm not sure how many law students attend CU sporting events but I think I have an idea (not many?). With the construction of the new arena and football, there was the potential for more grad school attendance and support.

Now, they're talking about moving the law school to Raleigh? As an athletic booster, I believe this would be a shame for athletics because these students will have deep pockets some day. If they're not in the Creek, they wouldn't have any exposure to CU athletics even if they were interested. If they donate $ for athletics, it would probably be to their undergrad alma mater. Of course, they might do that even if they were attending law school in Buies Creek.

From what I heard the Dean is the one that really wants to do it. No one else is too crazy about it.

The law school needs to stay on campus. I wonder if it is a housing situation or just proximity to court houses both local and federal etc.

Law School Move
Moving the Law School away from Buies Creek would be a mistake in my opinion. It would take away from the campus. With all of the expansion that is going on currently why would you want to do this?

It is my understanding that board is currently leaning toward a vote in favor of moving the school to Raleigh. If you are not in favor of this you really need to voice your opinion to the administration that you would like to see the Law school stay on campus.

Thanks.

I heard about the boards at the game on Saturday from Orange Camel and thought I might join into the discussions.
