I just visited the "Bucs Football and Friends" website for the first time. I'm definitely more than a little concerned that we may NEVER see football at ETSU.

Has anyone else actually clicked the links to the "board minutes" and read them? They read like an Andy Griffith episode - "Hey Barn. I'm thinkin' about grabbin' Floyd and Otis and havin' a bake sale and a golf tourney to raise some money for the town dance, but I don't really have a date, time, or concrete plan for doin' it."

If you just read the minutes, it appears that they are disorganized and don't have clear plans in place. I'm sure the meetings are much more productive than the minutes indicate, but I would recommend that the minutes look and read more professional than those that are currently on the site.

Can anyone fill me in on what progress they've made in gaining ground on the issue of bringing back football? Just curious...

We'll never see football again at good ol' ETSU. It's time you became a tennis (or golf or track) fan.

VIVA LA RESISTANCE! no but seriously, the foundation (they are in small caps land) hasn't accomplished a thing except meet at the garbage disposal office every now and again, have a golf tournament and reminisce about the supposed good ol' days of a program that didn't draw anything fan or money wise excluding when Randy Moss played here. Living here nobody has seen anything to the tune of funding raised or anything else. All we get are the preachings of a former disgruntled employee whom, well nevermind I read the "AUP."
